In an effort to be as cliché as possible – I am a marketing professional. For the past six years, I have been working in an advertising agency setting (large and small). Having worked on many accounts and encountered numerous different clients with varying personalities – I have developed a knack for “making the customer happy”. Balancing anywhere from 35-50 tasks a day requires constant responsiveness and consideration of time (not only mine but others as well).  Which makes me perfectly qualified for a two-week Squarespace website turn around!

So, how after so many years in an agency working on TV and radio projects did I fall into web design? Well, glad you asked, the beauty of a smaller sized agency is that you get to have your hand in every pot. Working with account teams, creative teams, print production, broadcast production, research, strategy, digital analytics every day allowed me to develop a “very particular set of skills” (Liam Neeson, “Taken” for those playing at home) – some I liked more than others. Building websites (specifically Squarespace) was fun; it was a time I could pop in my headphones, drill down and build something from scratch.

Now I own a Squarespace web design company that uses a 2 week process (start to finish). In the 14 days, your website is built from the ground up and is able to go through several rounds of changes/edits. On the last day I walk you through everything and then hand the keys over to you! Pretty neat!

Some of the more intriguing aspects of my life?

  • I have lived in Michigan, in metro Detroit, my entire life
  • My fiancé and I love to travel – which is what prompted this venture… so that we could have more adventures (my favorite vacation so far was to Ireland in 2016)
  • We have a 2.5 month old German Shepherd named Badger
  • I have only owned Jeeps
  • Sun sign: Aquarius, Sun rising: Virgo, Moon sign: Aquarius (if you’ve met me for more than five minutes, you know that I am 100% Aquarius)

Okay – real talk. What are your goals? I know that I have some pretty specific goals for the rest of 2018… like not going crazy before our wedding in June and repainting our unnecessarily large wood deck. Professionally, I would like to master the art of consistently posting blogs/content twice a week! Similarly, to having a polished website – promoting yourself and your business through content is essential.

Now you know a bit about me and my background – I would love to hear more about you and your business. Send me a note – tell me what your goals are for 2018!
